Digital Snapshot Guidelines - Standard
Please read these guidelines carefully and have a second person capture all of the images described below.(no selfies)
Lighting
Natural daylight that is non-direct and/or diffused is strongly recommended. No harsh shadows, no artificial light that
is too warm/orange or too cool/blue. Fill-flash may be okay to use to reduce face/neck shadows, but the source
should be a good distance away from the person so that the effect is subtle, natural, and not too harsh.
Wardrobe
Adult Female Models: Dark pants and plain white camisole / tank top (recommended) or t-shirt. Heels (recommended) or bare feet.
Adult Male Models: Dark pants and plain white t-shirt. Bare feet.
Children: Dark pants and plain white t-shirt. Bare feet.
Hair
Simple and minimal styling unless your daily hair style is especially trendy/edgy/unique/avant-garde. Hair should be down / loose unless otherwise specified.
Makeup
Light and natural or none.
Image Orientation
All digital snapshots must be in portrait / vertical format (the image’s longest direction should be up:down).
